One of the best sources of vitamin E, avocado. Vitamin E has many functions and benefits, and help protect the body against various diseases and illnesses.

One of the major health benefits of avocados is to help protect your eyes from cataracts and macular degeneration, two common eye diseases. This comes from the carotenoid lutein.
